Stuff n junk

I know... it's been a while. Sorry! I've been a little busy so let me let you in on what my life has been like for the past 3 weeks...

Like I said in my last post, I got pulled into a new hire training class the last week of June. It was so much fun! I loved it! No, it wasn't easy and my class was probably the worst type of class to have. One third of the class were transfering from another contract and the rest were newbies. With the transferes there I wasn't always sure if the newbies got it or not. To top that off, all my resources were gone, either in India or on vacation. But even with all that, I really enjoyed it! Everyone graduated and though we've lost a few since then, mostly attendance, I think they're getting it and doing a pretty good job.

Aside from work, I've been getting ready for Mongolia! I'm leaving tomorrow for 3 weeks! Nope, not at all excited... Stacy is going to take me to the airport tomorrow morning. We get the joy of being there at 6:30 am! Our team has grown from last year. 9 last year and 8 of us are returning. Adding to that we're going to have about 20 people going this year. I can't wait to see the kids again and see who meets us at the airport!

When I'm not working or thinking about Mongolia I've been hanging out with Stacy. This week we went out for a movie and saw "Mama Mia". I LOVED it! We laughed a lot. So much so that if I were Stess, I would have SNORTED, but I didn't. I'll be seeing it again when I get back.

When I do get back, I'll head off to work. Not sure what they'll have me do, but I'm going to be off the Friday after and get to go spend time with famly. I'm looking forward to that too!

So yeah, life has been a bit busy and will only get more so. Obviously I won't be writing much, so this will have to tide you over. But I'll take lots of pictures while I'm there and I'll post lots of them. In the meantime, have a great couple of weeks!

Mi Primera Fin de Semana en Espana - My first weekend in Spain

This was my first view from my hotel when I arrived on Friday afternoon:  After a short nap, MUCH needed but short because I did want to sleep later that night, this was the view that I woke to... The clouds had burned away and it was SO beautiful! There's a beautiful walkway along the ocean. People are always walking, running and biking along it. I discovered that, though I'd bought an adapter at home, it was not the correct one for Spain. So I headed out to explore and with one thing in mind. Stopping first at the reception desk, I exchanged some money and asked for directions to a location where I could purchase said adapter. Thankfully they had a map that they gave me and pointed out a store just up the street that would probably have what I was looking for. Before walking up the streets in search, I stopped to admire the view closer.  This statue is located right outside of the hotel. Here's a close up:   As I sat in this area I obviously loo
