A New Home

Praise the Lord! I found a place to live as of last night! I've been looking hard for a week, just after I got back from Mongolia and realized I only had two weeks to find a place. I didn't really want to move to Beaverton, cause I love Portland! And I didn't want to move any further east because the commute would be aweful. The place I found is closer to 205 and even better, about 3 blocks away from the Max station. Now I'll really have no excuse other than pure laziness, to not rid the Max to work. I'll be living with two christian women and a chocolate lab that is just sweet. The house is owned by one of the ladies and it's really cute!
So, thanks for your prayers. They've been answered!

Tids and Bits

Cebu? Really? That's the last time I blogged? Well, yeah, I guess it is. Well then... I think I'll just post pictures and let that catch me up on what's been going on with life :)

Eva the Princess

Yesterday I got the pleasure of watching Eva while her mom went on a date! We had such a fun time! Eve and I went to McDonald's for lunch where she got to play on the play structure for an hour +. Then we came home and drew pictures. Last time she was here we built a fort and at church she asked me if we could do that again. So, we made a huge fort. I wanted to take a picture of it, but I forgot. It took up the whole living room though, so it was pretty cool. After watching "Beauty and the Beast" Eva wanted to dress up. We found a skirt in Crista's closet and made her a "dress" that twirled. Crista and I put on our dresses too, but she wouldn't take a picture with us. Of course she lost her camera shyness and I've got several cute pictures of her. She's such a ham!

Barn Party 2007

I had a great time tonight at the 3rd Annual Barn Party! For the first time I entered into the chili contest and the pie contest. I was quite surprised to actually win both! Of course, mine was the only fruit pie, but I was up against some tough competition with spicy chili. Especially since I don't really like chili, or spicy stuff. I had Crista taste it first, and then another friend. I actually didn't taste it until after Stess had put some in her bowl. Wow it was spicy! I do have a funny story to go along with my items. Pictures are worth a thousand words, unfortunately I don't have a picture of this, so you'll have to use your imagination. On the way to the party Stess had the crock pot of Chili sitting in a large cardboard box on her lap. In her hand was the pie in it's pie plate. We were driving her little Mustang and I was driving, trying to do so carefully so as not to spill the chili or dump the pie. We went up a small hill and realized that the chili wa...
